Queen chrysalis

This is the fourth Queen chrysalis I've found on my Pineneedle milkweed (Asclepias linaria) plant, but the first one that's still intact.

 

The other three were devoured by Large Milkweed bugs. I've since started to assassinate them one by one. They also kill off the plant--and I've lost many to them already. So although I don't usually pick and choose which bugs live and which ones die...these have got to go!
