First Hedgehog cactus bloom

First Hedgehog cactus bloom just popped this afternoon under the Mesquite tree by the driveway. Many more to cime!

Mariposa lilly

The Mariposa (Spanish for butterfly) lillies have started to bloom. I looked for them last weekend and didn't see any so they've popped sometime over the past few days. They're a bit later than last year but we didn't have as much late winter rain.

Hooded orioles arrive 2016
