Sandhill Cranes - Whitewater Draw Arizona

It was an absolutely spectacular evening. We arrived about 5:00. The clouds had rolled in giving us a glorious sunset as a backdrop of the incoming Sandhill Cranes at the Whitewater Draw, Arizona.

Greeted by a Great Egret.

Hundreds of blackbirds settled into the marsh. When they settled into the grasses you could hear a slight whoosh/rustle and then they were hidden from sight.

Cranes in the field. Very camouflaged.
