Events that happen to us become the threads of our life. We can either leave them as a tangled mess or artfully weave them into the tapestry of our life.
The 6'X22" bronze sculpture found in Morris K. Udall Park completed in 1988 by artist Mark Rossi depicts an old Tohono O’odham woman standing tall and looking straight ahead. She is holding a basket and at her feet are a desert lizard, deer antlers, saguaro cactus flowers, a sea shell and other items. At the top of the labyrinth design is the painted image of I’itoi (Elder Brother).
